Dominio del Urogallo BL

  • ORIGIN OF GRAPES: All Asturian grapes under supervision of our team.
  • SOIL: Degraded slate, Quartz & clay.
  • GRAPE VARIETIES: White Albarín, Albillo, Small grain Mostacel, Palomino.
  • VINEYARD: Young vineyards (10 to 30 years old).
  • WINE MAKING: 100% destemmed and soft grape pressing. Alcoholic Fermentation in stainless steel tanks and resting with its lees during 5 - 6 months.
  • BARIQUE AGING: None.
  • BOTTLE AGING: 3 – 6 months before selling.
  • PAIRING: Great with seafood and other fish, but also as apertif

Dominio del Urogallo MN

  • ORIGIN OF GRAPES: All Asturian grapes under supervision of our team.
  • SOIL: Degraded slate, Quartz & clay.
  • GRAPE VARIETIES: 100% Mencía.
  • VINEYARD: Young vineyards (10 to 30 years old).
  • WINE MAKING: Early harvest for elegant freshness and healthy, juicy fruit. Destemmed and slow fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
  • BARIQUE AGING: None.
  • BOTTLE AGING: 3 – 6 months before selling.
  • PAIRING: Great with different Spanish meat tapas, but also as apertif.

Dominio del Urogallo AB - AL

  • ORIGIN OF GRAPES: Vineyards under our control.
  • SOIL:  Slate, Quartz, Anthracite & clay.
  • GRAPE VARIETIES: White Albarín, Albillo.
  • VINEYARD: Young vineyards (10 to 30 years old).
  • WINE MAKING: 100% destemmed and soft grape pressing. Alcoholic Fermentation in stainless steel tanks and resting with its lees during 3 - 4 months.  Batonage during first month after fermentation.
  • BARIQUE AGING: 6-9 months in well-used French oak.
  • BOTTLE AGING: 6 – 9 months before selling. .
  • PAIRING: Great with seafood and fish rice stews, but also with salads and cold tapas.

Dominio del Urogallo AT-VN-MN

  • ORIGIN OF GRAPES: Vineyard under our control.
  • SOIL:  Slate, quartz, Anthracite.
  • GRAPE VARIETIES: Red Albarín, Red Verdejo,  Mencía.
  • VINEYARD: Young vineyards (15 to 30 years old).
  • WINE MAKING: 100% destemmed. Alcoholic Fermentation INOX. Malolactic Fermentation and aging during 6-9 months used french oak barriques.
  • BARIQUE AGING: 6-9 months in well-used French oak.
  • BOTTLE AGING: 6 – 9 months before selling. .
  • PAIRING: Great as an appetizer and with all kinds of tapas. Fantastic with pasta and stews.

Dominio del Urogallo 100 AB 100

  • ORIGIN OF GRAPES: Own vineyard.
  • SOIL:  Slate & quartz.
  • GRAPE VARIETIES: 100% White Albarín.
  • VINEYARD: Old prefiloxeric vineyards.
  • WINE MAKING: 100% destemmed and soft grape pressing.  Alcoholic Fermentation and aging with its lees in used 500 l. french oak demi muids during 15-18 months. Batonage 3-4 months. Neither filtering nor clearing.
  • BARIQUE AGING: 15 – 18 months used French oak.
  • BOTTLE AGING : 6 – 9 months before selling.
  • PAIRING: Fantactic with seafood and fish stews. It goes great with oysters and classic cuisine. .

Dominio del Urogallo Field Blend

  • ORIGIN OF GRAPES: Own vineyard.
  • SOIL:  Mother rock Slate & Quartz. .
  • GRAPE VARIETIES: Carrasquin, Red Verdejo, Red Albarín, Mencía, Grenache, etc.
  • VINEYARD: Old prefiloxeric vineyards.
  • WINE MAKING: 50% destemmed. Alcoholic Fermentation in 2000 l chestnut vat. Malolactic Fermentation and aging during 15-18 months, used french oak barriques. Neither filtering nor clearing.
  • BARIQUE AGING: 15-18 months used French oak. 
  • BOTTLE AGING : 6 – 9 months before selling.
  • PAIRING: Great wine for meat dishes and all kinds of stews. Also great with different pasta plates.
